‘Reborn Rich’ Episode 3 Marks Double-Digit Viewership + Song Joong Ki Meets Shin Hyun Bin
Song Joong Ki's new drama "Reborn Rich" marks a new achievement for the show's third episode after the series hit an all-time high rating.
Based on the webtoon "The Youngest of Son of a Conglomerate," the 16-part episode series centers around the revenge of Soonyang Group's loyal employee Yoon Hyun Woo who was reincarnated as the chaebol family's youngest member Jin Do Joon, both played by Song Joong Ki.
In the drama, Lee Sung Min plays Soonyang's founder Jin Yang Chul. Viewers witness how the character values power and wealth while choosing who among his family would be the perfect successor.
Amid Soonyang Group's journey of choosing its heir, Prosecutor Seo Min Young is on the lookout for the conglomerate's illegal activities, hence the moniker, "Soonyang's grim reaper."
'Reborn Rich' Episode 3 Viewership
After a successful premiere, "Reborn Rich" continued to make headlines with powerful scenes and revelations per episode.
According to Nielsen Korea, Song Joong Ki's new drama scored its first double-digit rating for the show's third episode.
"Reborn Rich" episode 3 garnered a whopping 10.8 percent in nationwide rating while 11.7 percent in metropolitan areas, setting a new personal best.
Where to Watch 'Reborn Rich' Episode 4?
For its second week since the debut, "Reborn Rich" episode 4 will air on November 25 via JTBC, VIKI and VuiTV.
In addition, the JTBC series airs thrice a week every Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
'Reborn Rich' Episode 3 Recap
The episode starts with the young Jin Do Joon choosing an undeveloped land in Seongnam, Bundang to be his first project.
With Soonyang's chairman, Jin Yang Chul, they made the small village turned into a modern city and home to 390,000 residents.

Jin Yang Chul expressed how impressed he is with his grandson but asked him if this is just pure luck or if he has good discernment.
With this, the chairman gave Jin Do Joon 24 million USD under his name as his percentage to the newly built real estate.
However, his uncles and aunts are threatened by him and speculated that they will lose their chance to be the heir because of the 20-year-old Jin Do Joon.
Another highlight of "Reborn Rich" episode 3 is Jin Do Joon's encounter with college student Seo Min Young.
In the previous episode, it featured Seo Min Young as the fearless prosecutor who is not intimidated by how powerful Soonyang is.
However, in his life as Jin Do Joon, he saw how timid yet carefree she is when she was just in law school.
In the latter part of the episode, Jin Yang Chul is testing who among his heirs would be a perfect fit for Soonyang.
Will it be his eldest son, Jin Young Ki, or the promising Jin Do Joon, his youngest grandson?
However, the last scene hints at Jin Do Joon's plans on taking over Soonyang Group through his friend, Oh Se Hyun a South Korean investor.
