Kim Go Eun Shows Off Emotional Performance In New Poster of Upcoming Film ‘Hero’

Kim Go Eun is back to the silver screen this winter, following the success of her recently concluded thriller drama "Little Women."

Prior to the theatrical release of "Hero," the production team of the film released the character posters of the lead stars including Kim Go Eun, Jung Sung Hwa, Jo Jae Yoon and more.

Kim Go Eun Shows Dramatic Performance in 'Hero'

Kim Go Eun's comeback film "Hero" has finally confirmed its premiere and released its new intriguing posters at the same time!

"Hero" is a musical drama film that depicts the true story of Ahn Jung Geun, a Korean independence activist who killed Ito Hirobumi, the Prime Minister of Japan. It will follow his life from waging freedom up until the moment of his death.

Kim Go Eun will take on the role of Seol Hee, an Independence Army informant. She shows an emotional yet firm personality in the poster, highlighting the actress' immersive acting.

The text that reads "I can't forget that day" raises expectations for another passionate performance from the actress.

Opposite Kim Go Eun is Jung Sung Hwa who transforms into Ahn Jung Geun. His poster heralds an emotional yet fulfilling drama as he plays the commander of the Korean Empire's Independence Army.

"I'm here to keep my promise" is written on his poster, sending chills to the viewers which amplifies anticipation.

Na Moon Hee, Jo Jae Yoon, Lee Hyun Woo and Jin Ki Joo's individual posters were also released, showcasing the vivid pride of the South Koreans who lived in the Japanese colonization era.

Attention is focused on the character's performances, rich musical quality and engrossing storyline which will make the winter hotter than ever. Catch "Hero" in theaters nationwide on December 21!

Kim Go Eun's 'Pamyo,' More

Kim Go Eun recently wrapped up her blockbuster thriller series "Little Women," and is now gearing for her silver screen return with "Hero."

In any role she does, Kim Go Eun shows her impeccable acting chops, hooking viewers from beginning to end.

At the moment, the actress is also preparing for another film with Lee Do Hyun. The two will headline "Pamyo" (also known as "The Unearthed Grave") which deals with the story of a shaman who relocates a dead body in exchange for a huge sum of money.

"Pamyo" is expected to hit the big screen in the early half of 2023.
