The annual celebration of talents, Blue Dragon Film Awards, took place on Friday, November 25 and named the actors and the films that shined brightest in 2022. The single event brought together actors of the same caliber. Here are the best moments that happened in the ceremony!
'Decision To Leave' Sweeps Major Awards
Among the films that showed excellence in the past year, Park Chan Wook's "Decision To Leave" proved that it's the main character of 2022.
At the 43rd Blue Dragon Film Awards, "Decision To Leave" was nominated 13 times in different categories and took home six trophies for Best Film, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Screenplay and Best Music.
Park Hae Il, who still couldn't believe their success, thanked the production team of "Decision To Leave," his co-star Tang Wei, Go Kyung Pyo and Kim Shin Young.
He also praised the other nominees for the night, saying, "The actors and production unit of "Hansan: Rising Dragon" also worked hard, too. I want to deliver my gratitude to them."
"The year 2022 is so good to me," Park Hae Il added and thanked the fans. "This award is for the fans who supported me. Please look forward to more works from me in the future."
This is Park Hae Il's second time winning Best Actor at the Blue Dragon Film Awards. Meanwhile, Tang Wei, the actress who headlined "Decision To Leave," is the first foreigner to win Best Actress at the event.

She thanked her co-stars, director, writers and the supporters who made the film possible. Tang Wei reflected on her career and stated, "Many stars spend their lives waiting for a great film but I'm blessed that I met the people behind "Decision To Leave."
Tang Wei Sheds Tears At 43rd Blue Dragon Film Awards
Best Actress Tang Wei couldn't hold back her tears after listening the OST of her award-winning film "Decision To Leave."
After the film swept major awards at the 43rd Blue Dragon Film Awards, Jung Hoon Hee performed the song "Mist" to celebrate.
The camera caught Tang Wei shedding tears at the emotional performance of the song. Park Hae Il offered his comfort, gaining attraction from the public.
Kim Hye Soo, the host of the show, congratulated Tang Wei and gave her comfort by saying, "This must be your most memorable night."
Tang Wei and Park Hae Il thanked everyone who supported them and "Decision To Leave" once again. The two also bagged the Best Actor awards at the prestigious event.
