Ju Ji Hoon Reveals Taking the Variety Show ‘Ticketing on Two Feet’ Because of Best Friend Ha Jung Woo
Ju Ji Hoon spoke about the time he received the offer to star in the upcoming variety show "Ticketing on Two Feet."
The TVING show focuses on the journey and road trip of cast members Ha Jung Woo, Ju Ji Hoon, Yeo Jin Goo, and SHINee's Minho around New Zealand, exploring new places and its culture.
During his interview with media outlet, the actor revealed what prompted him to accept the offer.
Ju Ji Hoon Wants to Star in Variety Show With Ha Jung Woo
The actor shared that the idea started during his conversation with Director Jang Tae Yu's older brother, with whom he worked with the K-drama "Hyena." Eventually, he met with the director himself and was asked why he doesn't do travel shows.
Although he is fond of seeing new places, meeting other people, and seeing their culture, Ju Ji Hoon said that he "doesn't have a chance to go out" and thinks that doing these types of variety shows was somehow "difficult" and was hesitant to show his true self.
However, the director recommended someone who would be a fun addition to the cast in case Ju Ji Hoon agreed.
"Director Jang Tae Yoo said, 'My brother is planning something like this,' and he said, 'Let's invite Ha Jung Woo, Jung Woo Sung hyung, and Bae Doona, whom you are close to, and let's do it together,'" the actor recalled.
Interestingly, out of the three, it was his celebrity best friend and "Narco Saints" star Ha Jung Woo who agreed to join Ju Ji Hoon in the travel variety show.
The actor said that he received a call from Jung Woo telling him about an offer for a TVING show.

The two of them said to each other, that they will do it if one agrees and eventually ended up together for "Ticketing on Two Feet" along with Yeo Jin Goo and SHINee's Minho.
'Ticketing on Two Feet' Release Date
TVING recently released a teaser poster of "Ticketing on Two Feet" featuring the four South Korean stars.
As mentioned, they will travel to New Zealand with the goal of completing a mission and that is to earn vacation tickets.
In the broadcast network's official Instagram, TVING showed a sneak peek at what to expect in the forthcoming variety show headlined by stunning and great actors.
"We're not the people you used to know," the poster reads, hinting at an explosive chemistry from Ha Jung Woo, Ju Ji Hoon, Yeo Jin Goo, and SHINee's Minho
Apart from the glimpse of "Ticketing With Two Feet" TVING also confirmed the release date of the show, which will premiere in January 2023.
