Lee Seung Gi is ending the year with a heartwarming donation to children. His year-end activity comes after the award winning star officially signed with new agency following his dispute with Hook Entertainment.

Despite the conflict with his former agency, the South Korean triple threat made generous donation to a children's hospital.

Lee Seung Gi Donates 2 Billion KRW to Seoul National University Children's Hospital

According to a report, "The Law Cafe" star fulfilled his promise by donating 2 billion KRW (or ​​1,587,400 USD) to children's hospital.  

The Seoul National University Children's Hospital revealed that Lee Sung Gi gave monetary aide for the treatment and provide a better environment for sick children and their families.

In addition, the top star also personally visited and went around the institution.

During his visit, Lee Seung Gi noticed the concerns in terms of structures around the hospital and due ot this, the actor have decided to support the funding of the medical environment at the Seoul National University Children's Hospital.

As for the institution, they will use the donation to restore the facility starting by replacing old equipment and resolve the overcrowding problems around the hospital.

Interetingly, the Seoul National University Children's Hospital also named one of their wards after the "Vagabond" star, planning it to be named as "Lee Seung Gi wards."

The donation comes after the 35-year-old star officially signs under new talent label.

According to report, Lee Sung Gi is off to a new start this 2023 by joining the one-man agency, Human Made, which he established in 2021.

The label released an offciial statemenrt announcing the actor's transfer after leaving his former agency, Hook Entertainment.

Human Made welcomed Lee Seung Gi noting that he will "continue his future promotions at the one-man company."

To recall, the actor offciially left Hook Entertainment after 17 years and established his own company.

However, Human Made tied up with Hook Entertainment in line with his talent contract.

Lee Seung Gi hints that he will continuen to fight things in court and as for the money he promised to donate it to various charities.

"If this money can be used for those who are more in need than me, the happiness and value I feel will exceed that of just 5 billion won," he said.
