Park Seo Joon Confirmed To Star in New Project With BTS V — Here’s What We Know So Far

Back-to-back good news for K-drama fans and ARMYs! Park Seo Joon is making his return to the small screen with BTS V this February.

BTS V Officially Joins Cast of 'Youn's Kitchen' Spin-Off 'Seo Jin's'

On January 10, Newsen announced that BTS V will officially join Park Seo Joon in the forthcoming reality show "Seo Jin's" (working title), which is a spin-off of the previous program "Youn's Kitchen."

tvN revealed on the said media outlet that "Seo Jin's" is scheduled to premiere in February, but the date and time slots are still in discussion.

The spin-off variety program "Seo Jin's" is a restaurant series run by Lee Seo Jin, who has been active as a director in "Youn's Kitchen," he will be promoted as the new president of the group.

Unlike the previous season, which introduced traditional food representing Korea such as bulgogi and bibimbap, "Seo Jin's" presents lighter and variety of menus.

In the upcoming season of the show, K-drama stars Lee Seo Jin, Jung Yu Mi, and Park Seo Joon, who worked together in "Youn's Kitchen" and Choi Woo Sik who made a special participation in another spin-off of the said program will reunite for a bigger and exciting journey.

Earlier in December 2022, while the first filming was reportedly conducted in Mexico, Park Seo Joon and BTS V were seen coming out together at a local restaurant, raising speculations that the idol-actor might also join as a new cast member.

At that time when the rumor circulated online, tvN didn't confirm nor denied Kim Taehyung's participation.

But this 2023, the broadcasting company confidently said, "Please check BTS V's appearance through the upcoming broadcast of 'Seo Jin's.'"

Though even before the media confirmed his participation, V already hinted at his collaboration with Park Seo Joon in his past Instagram post.

The restaurant series is already drawing attention as producer Na Young Seok will be in charge of the show.

tvN's "Seo Jin's" is Park Seo Joon and BTS V's reunion project alongside "Wooga Squad" member Choi Woo Sik. It will be their first reality show this 2023.

The trio, along with Park Hyung Sik and Peakboy-already met the viewers in the second half of 2022 after they starred in the travel reality show "In The Soop."

Meanwhile, Park Seo Joon is also returning with a new K-drama "Gyeongseong Creature" with Han So Hee in the first half of 2023. This year also marks his Hollywood debut through the movie "The Marvels."
