A month after Dispatch revealed the bombshell news regarding Lee Jong Suk and IU's dating status, fans have been on the hunt for traces of their relationship.

Lee Jong Suk Fanboys Over IU With THIS

The "While You Were Sleeping" star gained the attention of netizens, lauding him for lowkey supporting IU. It came after Lee Jong Suk was photographed together with the designer brand Beyond Closet and shared it on their official Instagram account.

While the South Korean star casually pose donning stylish ensembles, eagle-eyed fans notice that he was sporting IU's The Golden Hour concert merchandise.

However, others speculate that it might be the same hat that the idol-singer wore in her shows.

This simple gesture of Lee Jong Suk was lauded by fans noting that he fanboys over IU and supported her without going all out on social media.

To recall, she held her solo concert dubbed as "The Golden Hour: Under The Orange Sun" for two consecutive nights, starting September 17 and 18, 2022, at the Seoul Olympics Stadium.

At the time, several celebrities were spotted attending the event. It includes TWICE's Nayeon, Jihyo, and Jeongyeon, as well as BTS's Jungkook and J-Hope.

In addition, actors like Lee Joon Gi, Kang Han Na, Kim Soo Hyun, Yoo In Na, Kim Min Seok, Anupam Tripathi of "Squid Game, and Park Ju Hyun also came to watch the actress.

As for Lee Jong Suk, netizens think that IU's boyfriend also came to watch the concert.

On New Year's day, the public was surprised after Dispatch revealed IU and Lee Jong Suk's relationship stating that their friendship has evolved into a romance and had been dating for four months.

Moreover, they reportedly spent the Holidays in japan along with the idol actress' brother.

With this, Lee Jong Suk's agency, HighZium Studio confirmed that the two top stars are in a relationship.

In an official statement, the label said that IU and Lee jong Suk's connection "recently progressed from being close acquaintances into being a couple" and "are maintaining a serious relationship."

The two met on "Inkigayo" 10 years ago and have maintained their friendship since then.

Lee jong Suk also made headlines after he expressed her gratitude towards an anonymous individual during his acceptance speech at the MBC Drama Awards.

"I want to tell that person that I'm thankful to them for always being so admirable, that I've liked them a lot for a very long time," he said, adding, "and that I respect and admire them greatly."

Interestingly, the person he is referring to is none other than IU.
