K-heartthrob Park Seo Joon is ready to have a busy year as he is confirmed for a number of works: from drama to movies to a variety show!
Park Seo Joon Returns To Netflix With 'Gyeongseong Creature'
2023 is indeed a big year for Park Seo Joon as most of his already-filmed projects will finally hit the screens. In 2022, he worked non-stop and flew back and forth in Korea and abroad for his entertainment activities.
Marking his first small-screen comeback after three years (since "Itaewon Class"), the actor will headline the historical-fantasy series "Gyeongseong Creature."
Set in 1945, he takes the role of Jang Tae Sang, a wealthy man who is a reliable source of information in his city. He soon gets involved with Yoon Chae Ok (Han So Hee), which leads him to reevaluate his priorities in life.
"Gyeongseong Creature" will air in the first half of 2023 on the streaming giant Netflix. The drama is also confirmed for Season 2, and the original cast is expected to reprise their roles.
Park Seo Joon To Headline 'Concrete Utopia,' 'Dream'
The "Fight For My Way" lead star is also making a silver-screen return this year. He will meet the audience through the disaster movie "Concrete Utopia." He will share the frame with Lee Byung Hun and Park Bo Young.

Adding to his lineup is the long-awaited film "Dream," alongside singer-actress IU. Though the production got delayed multiple times due to the pandemic, they finally finished filming the project and is in post-production.
Park Seo Joon Marks Hollywood Debut With 'The Marvels'
Apart from his local projects, Park Seo Joon is set to make his Hollywood debut anytime this year. He will be part of "The Marvels" movie and is rumored to play the character of Amadeus Cho, a Korean-American acknowledged for his incredible intelligence. It has been said that the American movie sequel is scheduled for release in July.
Further, fans and viewers rejoiced as the "Hwarang" star is ready to make his participation in the upcoming cooking show "Seo Jin's," the spin-off series of the variety program "Youn's Kitchen."
Park Seo Joon is about to reunite with Lee Seo Jin and Jung Yu Mi. In addition, this entertainment program will also mark a reunion project for the "Wooga Squad" members Seo Joon, Choi Woo Shik, and BTS V.
"Seo Jin's" is expected to make its debut on February 24.
