While Yoo Ah In is currently under investigation of the authorities for a drug-related issue, the award-winning actor's past remark about his character in "Veteran" resurfaced.

The news comes after the "Hellbound" star is suspected of having used propofol habitually and against the Narcotics Control Act. The said narcotics are being used in a hospital setting and is considered a sleep-inducing drug.

With this, the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency's drug investigation unit conducted a probe into the actor and barred him to travel outside the country as the investigation continues.

However, the actor's past remark about his performance in "Veteran" is making a round of noise online.

The 36-year-old star has accomplished a lot of projects, may it be series or films. Moreover, he is also known for playing unconventional roles like the 2015 hit film "Veteran."

In the action thriller series, Yoo Ah In took the role of the villain Jo Tae Oh. He is a third-generation chaebol who is also a part of the family's conglomerate, Sinjin Group. He is joined by veteran actor Hwang Jung Min along with Yoo Hae Jin, Jung Woong In, and more.

"Veteran" gained positive responses from the public that it returned with a sequel. During the movie's press conference in Seoul in the same year, the award-winning star spoke about his role and experience filming the movie.

After watching himself play the villain role, he admitted that he felt "nervous" while seeing himself play Jo Tae Oh.

"Right now, I feel kind of giddy and dizzy because I watched my performance nervously," he said, to which co-star Hwang Jung Min responded saying "Giddy and dizzy? Did you eat the wrong medicine/drug?"

However, Yoo Ah In laugh and commented not to "say anything that would cause trouble." The prolific actor then threw a joke and shared that the "secret to crazy acting is drugs."

At the height of the movie, viewers were impressed with Yoo Ah In's a remarkable portrayal of the villain character.

However, netizens think that he might be high on substances at the time of the production of the "Veteran."

On the other hand, others also pointed out "Yoo Ahin is truly the Jo Taeoh of 'Veteran' in real life.

Days after the authority's announcement regarding the investigation, his urine test was released, and tested positive for marijuana.

As for the hair strand test, it will take 2 to 3 weeks to get the test result and confirm whether he is using propofol or not.

On the other hand, industry personnel is in a panic over Yoo Ah In's drug controversy given that his upcoming projects are set to be released in the first half of the year.

According to Korea Times, just like Netflix's "The Match," where it featured a team-up with Yoo Ah In and Lee Byung Hun. It is scheduled to be released in the first quarter of the year but might be affected because of investigation.
