South Korea's gem Jeon Do Yeon, who is already in her fifties, still has a huge influence in the industry. As an actress who always stars in thriller, mystery, and action dramas and films, the actress swiftly immersed herself into a character for a rom-com show.

Because she captivated viewers with her acting skills and timeless beauty in her comeback drama "Crash Course in Romance," it's safe to say that Jeon Do Yeon's impact will last longer. 

Jeon Do Yeon earned the title "Queen of Cannes," amid the popularity of her current romantic K-drama, alongside Jung Kyung Ho.

As many new fans are unaware of her reputation, older supporters of the South Korean superstar are aware that she already had this title back in 2007 when she won the Cannes Best Actress Award for the film "Secret Sunshine."

Since then, she was accompanied by a considerable sense of responsibility. She performed works that required truly impeccable acting, such as in "Good Wife," "The Housemaid," "Beasts Clawing At Straws," and more.

The sky-high ratings of "Crash Course in Romance" prove Jeon Do Yeon's power and influence in the industry. Her character also fits her well.

She confessed in an interview about the pressure of returning to a bright genre drama since it's been years since she starred in a romantic series. Amid the concerns, Jeon Do Yeon beautifully digested Nam Haeng Seon's character.

Following her drama, the award-winning actress is ready to make another transformation in her upcoming movie "Kill Bok Soon," where she will play the role of a murderer. From being a sweet and loving mother, she will transition into a whole new character. 

Ahead of the film's premiere in March, Jeon Do Yeon received an invitation to appear at the Berlinale Special section of the 73rd Berlin International Film Festival.
