This year, the actor is back on the big screen as he is booked to star in the upcoming movie "Soulmate," alongside Kim Da Mi and Jeon So Nee. It features the story of two girls who meet for the first time at the age of 13 and later become friends.
For the next 14 years of their friendship, they experience love, jealousy, longing, and personal growth.

"Soulmate" is a Korean remake of a famous Chinese film of the same name. It instantly became a hot topic in China because it was produced by the brilliant director Peter Chan. The leading actresses also received the Best Actress Award at the Golden Horse Awards, one of the prestigious film festivals held in Taiwan.
In the Korean adaptation, Byeon Woo Seok will play the role of Jin Woo, the man who becomes entangled in the lives of Kim Da Mi and Jeon So Nee. Without any hints given for his new character, fans are hoping that the actor will finally have his happy ending in this upcoming project.
Byeon Woo Seok Turns Into Villain in His Next K-Drama
Meanwhile, the model-actor is also gearing up for his small screen return through the drama "Strong Girl Nam Soon." Unfortunately, there's speculation that Byeon Woo Seok will portray the role of a villain in the story.
It is the sequel to the hit 2017 series "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon." For the second installment, the story is expected to focus on Kang Nam Soon, the cousin of Bong Soon, who has superhuman strength. She went missing as a kid in Mongolia. Now that she's an adult, she comes back to Korea particularly to Gangnam to find her parents.
Nam Soon meets her mom Hwang Geum Joo, and is known as one of the richest women in Gangnam. Furthermore, it has been said that the production has already begun filming, and the drama is scheduled to release sometime this 2023.
