'Empress Ki" Baek Jin Hee Passionate In the Rain For Forgiveness
"Empress Ki" Baek Jin Hee knelt and was apologetic in the rain.
On the episode of MBC Monday/Tuesday drama "Empress Ki" (script Jang Young Chul, Jung Kyung Soon, director Han Hee Lee Sung Joon) Baek Jin Hee was acting passionately as Tanasili and was under the pouring rain in her undergarments.
Even with the harsh streaks of water coming down, Tanasili's apology scene was filmed as she didn't get messy at all. The filming was conducted for about 5 hours at the Sokcho filming set on December 1st. This scene was where Tanasili was punished for saying that Lady Park (played by Han Hye Rin)'s pregnancy was a fake pregnancy and she had to show a tough Tanasili without shaking in the cold weather.
In the drama, Baek Jin Hee wanted to express the scene in a realistic way and wore an undergarment skirt for many hours that a large fire engine sprayed as she endured the cold.
The staff of "Empress Ki" said, "The weather got really cold and the sun had gone down when filming in the rain and even the staff had to wear multiple layers of clothing. Baek Jin Hee must've been very cold but smiled until the very end. Please look forward to the apology scene with Baek Jin Hee's passionate acting.
