Kim Da Mi Makes Silver Screen Comeback With 'Soulmate'

Since she made her acting debut, Kim Da Mi has been in numerous internationally acclaimed dramas and films.

The actress headlines upcoming youth drama film "Soulmate" as Mi So, an adventurous young girl who leaves the countryside to explore the city, and find her true purpose in life.

Based on the Chinese film of the same name, "Soulmate" centers on the human relationships of two childhood friends who grow apart, their romantic lives, jealousy, hopes and dreams, and more.

Kim Da Mi On Becoming Mi So

Prior to her return, Kim Da Mi described her character, Mi So, as a free-spirited person on the outside who has a lot of worries inside.

Because she resonates with her character, Kim Da Mi was drawn to do the project even more. According to her, she's also a bright person who's constantly worried about certain things.

Since she made her debut to the acting scene quite late, the actress had to prove herself and her acting skills. Thankfully, she is able to carve her name in the industry.

Kim Da Mi guarantees fans a great watching experience as she stated that she's doing various acting works without rest, hinting at a new drama and film.

With that said, apart from "Soulmate," she is also gearing up for a new disaster film called "The Great Flood" with Park Hae Soo which is expected to air on Netflix within 2023.
