'Island' Part 2 Episode 3: Won Mi Ho Remembers Wonjeong's Memories
In the previous episode, Won Mi Ho was determined to unveil Wonjeong's past. She went to Geum Baek Joo (Ko Do Shim) and underwent training to regain her memories and power.
Unfortunately, in the middle of the process, Gong Tan (Sung Joon) appeared, which alarmed Van, Baek Joo, and Yohan.
Meanwhile, it was revealed that Yeom Ji (Hur Jung Hee) is Gong Tan's niece and the only human he trusts.
To begin his revenge, Gong Tan sent Gunsunsae, an evil spirit who manipulates humans' minds. It was also the reason for Lee So Ryeon's death.
Yohan & Van Go Hand in Hand To Defeat Lust Demons and Gunsunsae
Won Mi Ho and Yohan discovered So Ryeon's tragic death. It alarmed Mi Ho, which urged her to summon the spirit.
Unfortunately, Gunsunsae manipulated her mind causing her to be vulnerable.

Students were possessed by lust demons. Yohan began to exorcise them but there was a lot, so he asked for Butler Jang's help. However, it was not enough.
Luckily, Van appeared to help him. The two were able to rescue the students by firing holy water to cleanse their souls.
On the other hand, Gong Tan plots a move on how he could defeat Van and Wonjeong/Won Mi Ho.
'Island' Part 2 Episode 4: Van Refuses To Show His True Feelings To Won Mi Ho
Gong Tan confronted Van and tried to win him back. Unfortunately, Van was determined to continue doing his mission of protecting Wonjeong. Gong Tan watched over Father Yohan, thinking how he could get rid of him.
After discussing the Gunsunsae, Van went out to find it as he could sense its energy near Won Mi Ho. Meanwhile, Gong Tan used his power to call lust demons. Won Mi Ho was still in self-pity for what had happened to So Ryeon.
Gunsunsae went to Mi Ho's place, and through it, she discovered the true intention of Butler Jang, which caused him to leave the place.
Van, who has been ignoring Won Mi Ho, paid a visit. She tried to rekindle the connection that they have in the past, Van was almost smitten by Mi Ho's affection but he tried not to reciprocate it.
Gong Tan surprised the duo and started to attack Won Mi Ho but failed.
Van and Gong Tan had an intense fight, and while distracting his opponent, Gong Tan used it to smash a sword at Mi Ho. Van tragically received the stab instead of Mi Ho.
Gong Tan was angered by what Van did, which awakened the demon in him.
