Viewers Demand For 'The Glory' Season 2

Forgiveness is so last season! Song Hye Kyo dominates the world with revenge through her smash hit series "The Glory"!

The two-parter drama is focused on the tragic life of Moon Dong Eun, played by Song Hye Kyo, and how she reclaims her glory by avenging her painful past from her perpetrators.

Due to its riveting premise, many grew curious about the work. The first part of the series gave viewers Moon Dong Eun's thorough backstory and how she prepared for her long awaited revenge.

In Part 2, fans were given the satisfaction as Moon Dong Eun finally welcomes Park Yeon Jin, played by Lim Ji Yeon, and her gang to hell, realizing her revenge.

"The Glory" instantly took the top spot in Netflix's chart for non-English TV shows, and also became the most streamed work in countries like Japan, the Philippines, Vietnam, Pakistan and more.

With its evident success, fans are curious whether a new installment or spin-off will be released within the year.

'The Glory' Season 2 To Potentially Focus On Lee Do Hyun's Revenge

The two parts of "The Glory" premiered sequentially with a two-month interval. While it tied all loose ends and gave every character their deserved ending, a new narrative hinted at a potential new season.

In "The Glory" Part 2, Moon Dong Eun declared that she will be an executioner for the long awaited revenge of his boyfriend Joo Yeo Jeong, played by Lee Do Hyun.

Although there's no confirmation of a new season yet, fans assume that the new installment will focus on his journey as he avenges his father's abrupt demise.

In addition to that, Moon Dong Eun also contacted Kang Hyeon Nam, played by Yeom Hye Ran, her right hand man at the end of the drama, signaling a new mission.

With the drama's international success, high demand and great potential of the premise, it wouldn't be a surprise if the "The Glory" stars reprised their roles in an upcoming spin-off.
