'The Glory' Named As Turning Point of Career By Jung Ji So

Jung Ji So slowly creates a name for herself in the acting industry, all thanks to her hard work!

At the age of 23, the young actress has appeared in various huge scale projects like "Parasite," which won the Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival in 2019.

This year, Jung Ji So once again wowed the viewers with her synchronized acting performance as a bullied student and the young version of Song Hye Kyo in the Netflix drama.

According to the actress, she received great attention for her appearance in the Netflix series. Jung Ji So stated that she hadn't experienced any accomplishment in the 10 years of her career until "The Glory."

She also described the drama as a "turning point" as she basks in the glory of her success. Despite being pressured and nervous in taking on the challenge, she was able to prove her talents in acting.

Jung Ji So Reacts To Nickname 'Little Song Hye Kyo'

A representative from Cosmopolitan Korea surprised the young actress as they revealed that Jung Ji So is known globally as "Little Song Hye Kyo."

Playing Moon Dong Eun is one of the hardest challenges Jung Ji So has taken. She said that she paid attention to the smallest details such as her pattern of breathing, facial expressions and eye contact.

"I felt like I could feel the pain even though it [hair iron] wasn't working," Jung Ji So stated, pertaining to the machine which was used to burn her body by her perpetrators in the show.

With her intense synchro-rate with her character, the 23-year-old star earned the nickname "Little Song Hye Kyo" not just because of their similar facial features but also because of their amazing performances.

Jung Ji So asked if it was really her nickname before thanking the director and the fans of "The Glory." However, she couldn't help but be burdened by the responsibility it holds.

"I'm thankful to be named after Song Hye Kyo sunbae [senior] because when I look up to her," Jung Ji So said. "I will keep the nickname "Little Song Hye Kyo" in my heart."

The "The Glory" starrer then promised to work harder and meet the public with greater works. At the moment, Jung Ji So is gearing up for her forthcoming remake of the popular film "Miss Granny"!
