Hyun Bin’s Agency Slams Rumors About Son Ye Jin’s Plan To Divorce the Actor

Hyun Bin's agency, VAST ENtertainment, shuts down the rumor that the actor is having a marital problems with Son Ye Jin.

After the celebrity couple tied the knot in April 2022, all eyes are on the couple, with fans and media wanting to know more about their life as husband and wife.

However, a year after Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin got married, a rumor sparked that the "Thirty-Nine" star is planning to divorce the actor for one reason.

YouTube Video Claims Son Ye Jin is Divorcing Hyun Bin

Over YouTube, a video was posted claiming that the marital woes of the couple were discussed in the Hollywood talk show, "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" featuring the award winning host talking about the Korean top stars.

Based on the video, the post claimed that Hyun Bin had gambling problems and reportedly lost 3.00 billion KRW, or around $2.29 million USD, through stock investments.

With this, Son Ye Jin reportedly had enough with her husband and plans on getting a divorce.

On the other hand, viewers were not convinced that the American talk show host is talking about the couple since he didn't even name Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin. Instead, the video contains photos of the couple to make it appear as if Jimmy Kimmel is referring to the "Crash Landing on You" stars.

'Ridiculous': Hyun Bin's Agency Calls Out YouTube Video

As obtained by a media outlet, VAST Entertainment responded to malicious claims of the video. Hyun Bin's agency calls the post "ridiculous and not true at all."

Moreover, the label also mentioned that they are monitoring fake news but shared that they are discussing how they can put end to such false claims.

"It's not that we didn't know about it because we have been continuously monitoring for fake news," the agency explained, adding, "Since it is not true, we were discussing internally how to deal with this. We were preparing to respond that it wasn't true."

With this, VAST Entertainment is setting up action and plans on "reporting the video and requesting it to be taken down" as they "continue to monitor the situation and take further action if necessary."

Following the malicious rumors, this is not the first time that the couple was hit with such baseless rumors.

The same goes for other top stars who are also dealing with fake news circulating on the internet.

On the other hand, Hyun Bin continues to be booked and busy this 2023, with his back-to-back movies.

After the success of his big screen comeback "Confidential Assignment 2: International," the top star headlines an action thriller film "The Point Men" with the award-winning star Hwang Jung Min.

It was then followed by another upcoming film "Harbin," together with "Vincenzo" star Jeon Yeo Bin, and Jo Woo Jin of "Narco Saints."
