Based on the news cited by OSEN on April 3, "Melting Me Softly" star Shim Hyung Tak is confirmed to tie the knot to his Japanese non-celebrity girlfriend this coming July.
In addition to the report, the actor has been dating his partner for four years already. It has been said that Shim Hyung Tak met his bride-to-be at a famous local toy company in Japan. The couple plan to hold their wedding ceremony in Japan first then in Korea.

Shim Hyung Tak's latest drama appearance was in the 2021 fantasy-romance series "My Roommate is A Gumiho," headlined by Lee Hyeri and Jang Ki Young. He almost has more than 30 K-dramas under his belt.
He also has three movies, "The Doll Master," "Love in Magic," and "The Journey of the 12 Cats."
