‘Pandora: Beneath the Paradise’ Episode 8: Lee Ji Ah Chooses Between Past & Present
"Pandora: Beneath the Paradise" episode 8 stuns viewers with the shocking truth behind Jang Hee Jin's father while Lee Ji Ah was torn between her past and present life.
The 16-part episode K-drama depicts the story of Hong Tae Ra, played by Lee Ji Ah.
In the mystery thriller series, she lives a picture-perfect life - a happy family with a loving husband.
However, she found out that all of it was a lie. Named No. 50, she was once a top-notch assassin under a secret organization but had to live a different life to be part of a big plan by her husband, Pyo Jae Hyun, played by Lee Sang Yoon.
Joining as "Pandora: Beneath the Paradise" cast are Jang Hee Jin as Hong Tae Ra's best friend Ko Hae Soo and her husband Jang Do Jin played by Park Ki Woong.
Adding to the list of the lead star is Bong Tae Gyu as Koo Sung Chan.
'Pandora: Beneath the Paradise' Episode 8 Recap
The episode continues when Hong Tae Ra discovered the real identity of her bodyguard, Cha Pil Seung.
She intervened after Pil Seung planned to attack Ko Hae Soo. It turned out that he is working under the secret organization run by Kim Seon Deok, whom he considered as his "mother director."
What made Hong Tae Ra speechless is when he saw a tattoo ay Pil Seung's chest.
He recognized assassin No. 105 who happens to be her brother. Here, she was devastated to see her brother work as an assassin. All these years, he thought that he is living a normal life in exchange for being No. 50.

Pil Seung revealed that he waited for his sister but didn't get a chance to meet her.
He made his sister choose between him and Hong Tae Ra's new family now but she couldn't make a choice between the past and present.
Interestingly, another highlight of "Pandora: Beneath the Paradise" episode 8 is Jang Gyo Jin's recovery.
Although Sung Chan knew that he is alive, Gyo Jin opted to pretend that he is still in a state of comma.
However, he only revealed his true status to Hong Tae Ra and begged not to tell anyone but his mother.
In one scene, he is trying to figure out tests and refuses to use the patch that Hatch made.
Moreover, he also vowed to expose the personalities involved in his condition, including his brother Jang Do Jin and Pyo Jae Hyun.
On the other hand, the last scene revealed the true killer of Ko Hae Soo's father. It was Jang Do Jin's father, Jang Geun Mo, who killed his own best friend for power and wealth.
Jang Do Jin was frustrated and disappointed with his father's decision; however, he refused to leave Hae Soo. unfortunately, it was too late for Do Jin since Hae Soo have already discovered Geun Mo's secret.
