Choi Siwon Supposed to Play Goo Jun Pyo in 'Boys Over Flowers'?
"Boys Over Flowers" was one of the hit Korean series in 2009 that catapulted fame for its cast members. However, it has been revealed that the casting for the main male character, Goo Jun Pyo, was intense.
Actor and Super Junior member Choi Siwon was one of the first celebrities courted to play the famous role, but he rejected it.
In one of the episodes of "Kiss the Radio" in 2016, the show's host Leeteuk, who is also a member of Super Junior, revealed that Siwon offered the role of Goo Jun Pyo in "Boys Over Flowers" before Lee Min Ho was confirmed for the iconic role.
During that radio episode, Leeteuk jokingly said that Siwon was stupid for not accepting the project.

Moreover, with his visuals, Choi Siwon was an ideal choice for the role of a rebellious and troublesome young chaebol Goo Jun Pyo.
