IU Reveals She Suffers From 'Phone Phobia'

On Monday, April 1, IU surprised the public with a confession about her mental health.

In a video entitled "We Will Be Happier (With Yoo In Na)," IU reunited with her long-time best friend and fellow actress Yoo In Na.

The two talked about their travel plans that never happened due to their busy rosters, making viewers laugh at the relatable dilemma.

IU and Yoo In Na shared that they don't like traveling as they are self-proclaimed "potato couches"-both stars prefer to stay home as going out drains their battery almost immediately.

They also revealed that the longest phone call that they shared lasted for only three minutes. IU reasoned that she has phone phobia, making it difficult for her to talk on the phone for a long time in one sitting.

IU even feels uncomfortable talking to her mother on the phone, which sometimes affects their mood and overall relationship.

The singer-actress didn't share the reason behind her fear of phone calls but IU clarified that it's not her friends nor parents' fault; it's just a personal thing.

Despite that, their friendship remained the same. They also don't take it against one another if a plan doesn't happen immediately as they are both busy artists.
