Though it has been eight years since the movie "Gangnam Blues" was released, it is only this year that one of its behind-the-scenes stories was revealed.
"Gangnam Blues" is a 2015 film set in the 1970s. It depicts the story of two childhood friends, whose friendship is tested as they get involved in the battles between political powers and criminal organizations.

The movie was headlined by Lee Min Ho and Kim Rae Won. They played the roles of Kim Jong Dae and Baek Yong Ki, respectively.
According to Daum, on April 5, at the time the movie was being filmed, the viewers were still astonished by the good-looking and flashy image of Lee Min Ho. Since he played Kim Tan in the K-drama "The Heirs," which was released before "Gangnam Blues," the production tried to change Lee Min Ho's image for his new role.
Therefore, the production members decided to change Lee Min Ho's image and make him look like a dirty and ugly beggar.
In particular, they asked the "Boys Over Flowers" star to wear a thick and long wig to cover his stunning face.

However, the released dates of these projects are yet to be confirmed by the productions.
