‘Dr Romantic 3’ Drops First Trailer + Han Seok Kyu & Doldam Staff Face Dangerous Missions
After intriguing teasers, still cuts, and official posters, SBS finally dropped the first trailer of "Dr. Romantic 3," featuring the returning cast starting with Han Seok Kyu. The legendary surgeon Teacher Kim is officially back, along with the beloved staff of Doldam Hospital.
On April 7, the broadcast network showed a glimpse of what to expect in the highly awaited season.
'Dr. Romantic 3' Trailer Hints at More Drama for Teacher Kim, Doldam Hospital Staff
Ahead of the medical K-drama's release date, SBS released "Dr. Romantic 3" trailer, showcasing the characters of Han Seok Kyu, Lee Sung Kyung, and Ahn Hyo Seop.
The teaser began with the iconic surgeon, Teacher Kim, standing near a hospital bed along with a voiceover that says, "I'm someone who sets my mind on just one thing. Because of that, I may seem reckless to some people, and I may seem dangerous to others, but..."
Gunshots were also heard along with a snowboarder, gliding the white snowy mountain.
The next scene featured a busy emergency room with Cha Eun Jae, played by Lee Sung Kyung, doing CPR.
Wearing his scrub suit, Seo Woo Jin, portrayed by Ahn Hyo Seop, finishes Teacher Kim's sentence and said, "I put only one thought in my head before I begin: 'I'm going to save [this patient]!'"
Over the comment section, fans can't wait to see lead and supporting stars reprising their roles.
Moreover, viewers are thrilled to see the chemistry as well as the drama at Doldam Hospital.
On the other hand, some are wondering if the third installment will showcase the love line of Seo Woo Jin and Cha Eun Jae, as well as Nurse Park and Yoon Ah Reum, played by Kim Min Jae and So Ju Yeon.
'Dr. Romantic 3' Cast and Release Date
As mentioned, the upcoming season will showcase a mix of returning and new faces, completing the "Dr. Romantic 3" cast.
For the third season, Han Seok Kyu reprises his role as Teacher Kim, a once-famed surgeon who decides to go under the radar and work at a shabby countryside hospital called Doldam.

At his new workplace, he meets old workmates and rookie doctors.
Chief nurse Oh Myung Shim, played by Jin Kyung, and anesthesiologist Nam Do Il, portrayed by Byun Woo Min, is his longtime friends who joined Kim Sa Bu at his new place.
At Doldam Hospital, he meets the chief of administration Jang Ki Tae, played by Im Won Hee, who are all present since the first season.
The same goes for Kim Min Jae, Yoo Na Moo, and Lee Kyu Ho who will all join the upcoming season.
From season 2, Ahn Hyo Seop, Lee Sung Kyung, So Ju Yeon, Jung Ji Ahn, Shin Dong Wook, Yoon Bora, and more will be reprising their roles in "Dr. Romantic 3."
The third installment of the medical K-drama is set to premiere on April 28, following the finale of Lee Je Hoon's "Taxi Driver 2."
