'Vigilante' To Finally Greet Viewers This 2023
Nam Joo Hyuk's brand new action drama "Vigilante" is finally coming!
On Friday, April 7, Disney+ Korea confirmed the release of the webtoon-based series "Vigilante" starring Nam Joo Hyuk, Yoo Ji Tae, Lee Jun Hyuk and Kim So Jin.
It tells the life of a police university student who works as a "vigilante," taking down criminals who evade the law.
Nam Joo Hyuk transforms into Kim Ji Yong, an aspiring police officer who has an underlying intention when it comes to the law: to kill all the bad guys involved in his late mother's murder.
"Vigilante" marks Nam Joo Hyuk's first ever action drama after cementing his name in the industry with his smash hit series "Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo," "Twenty Five, Twenty One" and more.
It is also Nam Joo Hyuk's first project after enlisting in the military. In particular, Disney+ Korea's "Vigilante" is slated to air some time in the second half of 2023.
The exact premiere date of the work is yet to be announced due to the small details that need to be finalized flawlessly.

He is Kim Ji Yong's mentor who ironically becomes the investigation unit leader in hunting down the "vigilante" on a special mission.
Meanwhile, Lee Jun Hyuk becomes Kim Ji Yong's anchor as he helps him carry out his revenge. The actor portrays the enigmatic Cho Kang Ok in the series.
Lastly, Choi Mi Ryeo, a broadcast journalist who exposes "vigilante" to the world, is played by "Emergency Declaration" star Kim So Jin. She is predicted to amplify the tension in the series as a dedicated journalist.
The three veteran actors will create a high density atmosphere and unbeatable synergy that will draw in viewers from the beginning until the end.
