Following the release of the 2023 Baeksang Arts Awards nominations, the public noticed a number of stars who didn't get a nod at this year's ceremony.

While fans celebrate the recognition of Korean stars like Song Hye Kyo for "The Glory," veteran actor Lee Sung Min for his remarkable acting in "Reborn Rich," as well as Kim Hye Soo for her performance as the royal and dotting mother in "Under the Queen's Umbrella," others were surprised to see missing names who deserve the nomination.

With that said, here's a rundown of five shocking snubs at the 59th Baeksang Arts Awards nominations.

Kim Go Eun in 'Little Women'

While "Little Women" received a nomination for the Best Drama category, lead stars Kim Go Eun failed to enter the Best Actress nomination.

Like the "Little Women" star, Shin Min Ah didn't get to receive a nod at the 59th Baeksang Arts Awards Best Actress nomination.

To recall, her K-drama comeback "Our Blues" were among the most-watched series in 2022. In addition, viewers lauded her chemistry with co-star Lee Byung Hun as she portrays Min Sun Ah, a city girl with a mysterious past.

Lee Je Hoon in 'Taxi Driver 2'

One of the much-awaited sequels this first half of 2023 is none other than the beloved anti-hero Kim Do Gi in "Taxi Driver 2."

Following the soaring viewership rating and hype from viewers, the public predicted that lead star Lee Je Hoon will nab this year's Best Actor nomination; unfortunately, the 38-year-old star as well as the SBS K-drama didn't get a nomination at the 59th Baeksang Arts Awards.

Song Joong Ki in 'Reborn Rich'

Another shocking snub for the Best Actor category is the "Reborn Rich" lead star Song Joong Ki.

The novel-based series is among the most talked about series in 2022.

In addition, viewers lauded Song Joong Ki's chemistry with his co-stars, especially Lee Sung Min, who played his grandfather, Soonyang Group's Jin Yang Chul.

Unfortunately, the Hallyu star is among the biggest snub at the 2023 Baeksang Arts Awards nominations; however, "Reborn Rich" scored a nod for Best Drama category while Lee Sung Min for list of Best Actor.

'Alchemy of Souls'

From the Best Actor to Best Actress category, fans of "Alchemy of Souls" were disappointed that the fantasy romance series failed to enter the Best Drama category.

First released in June 2022, the tvN series returned with a sequel following its huge success.

Moreover, lead stars like Lee Jae Wook and Go Yoon Sung boosted their popularity, thanks to "Alchemy of Souls."

However, the 2023 Baeksang Arts Awards Best Drama category only includes 5 series: JTBC's "My Liberation Notes," Netflix's "The Glory," tvN's "Our Blues" and "Little Women" and ENA's "Extraordinary Attorney Woo."
