Shin Ye Eun Praised For Down To Earth Personality

One month since the release of "The Glory" Part 2, Shin Ye Eun dished out her honest feelings for the drama.

On April 10, the up-and-coming star made a special appearance at KBS Cool FM Park Myung Soo's Radio Show, thanking the viewers for their intense support for "The Glory."

In the blockbuster series, Shin Ye Eun took on the role of young Park Yeon Jin, a perpetrator of school violence. The older counterpart of the character was played by Lim Ji Yeon.

The 25-year-old star enjoyed massive success and recognition for her impressively realistic performance. In her interview with Park Myung Soo, the actress opened up about the hate that she experienced after "The Glory."

According to Shin Ye Eun, she lost almost thousands of followers on Instagram after the series as there are some viewers who hated her due to her role.

However, the young actress chooses to look at the bright side and still remains appreciative, considering the feedback as a "compliment" for her effective acting.

When asked about the changes she noticed in her life, Shin Ye Eun shared that many people recognize her now as an actress. She humbly said that she didn't expect her to be "so successful."

To give back to her fans, Shin Ye Eun promised to return with greater works that will capture her versatility and strength as a star.

Shin Ye Eun Reveals How She Made Song Hye Kyo Cry

In the interview with Park Myung Soo, Shin Ye Eun talked about her friendship with her fellow "The Glory" stars.

Like their adult counterparts, the young kids of the Netflix series including Jung Ji So, who played Song Hye Kyo's Moon Dong Eun, would gather to have dinner together despite their busy schedules.

According to Shin Ye Eun, she and the rest of the cast created a special bond through the work. The actress also shared an anecdote about Song Hye Kyo.

Although she didn't have a two shot scene with the veteran actress, Shin Ye Eun still managed to make the other cry.

She said, "Song Hye Kyo sunbae (senior) and I didn't have scenes together but she complimented me in an interview. I'm very grateful [to be recognized by her]."

When they saw one another for the first time, Song Hye Kyo shared that she "cried because of anger," referring to Shin Ye Eun and Jung Ji So's bullying scenes.

Shin Ye Eun fangirled, saying that it was the "best compliment" she has ever received in her entire acting career.

As she takes on new challenges, Shin Ye Eun promises to do her best to become as great as Song Hye Kyo when it comes to acting.

On the other hand, Shin Ye Eun currently stars as a guesthouse owner in the SBS TV series "The Secret Romantic Guesthouse" with Kang Hoon, Ryeoun and Jung Gun Joo.
