Fans might see Go Ah Sung on the small screen this year! The South Korean star is offered to appear in the forthcoming period drama "Chunhwa Love Story"!

The actress' agency released a statement about the project. 

Go Ah Sung To Possibly Headline 'Chunhwa Love Story'

On April 17, it was reported that "Tracer" actress Go Ah Sung is set to make her comeback to the small screen with a new drama!

In response to the reports, Key East Entertainment, the actress' company, announced that Go Ah Sung received casting offers from the production unit of the period romance series "Chunhwa Love Story" (literal title).

The work is based on the historical story of Chunhwa, a Korean erotic art tradition in the Joseon era. It depicts the life of a princess who defies his father, the King, and his order to marry.

Rather than tying the knot for naught, she's on a search to find true love to prove to her father that romance is greater than duty.

If Go Ah Sung confirms her participation in the work, she will take on the role of the princess. She previously showcased her acting prowess in "Tracer," "Crime Puzzle" and "Samjin Company English Class."

With her versatility as an actress, Go Ah Sung is expected to showcase her feminine beauty and regalness as a princess in "Chunhwa Love Story."

On the other hand, the series is aimed to be released within the year. The cast lineup and prospect actors haven't been disclosed yet so watch out for that!

Go Ah Sung To Return To Silver Screen With 'Because I Hate Korea'

After three years, Go Ah Sung is finally making her long anticipated comeback to the big screen with a new high scale film!

The 30-year-old star headlines the forthcoming movie "Because I Hate Korea" which focuses on the harsh reality of every woman in their late 20s experiences.

In the film, Go Ah Sung plays the role of Gye Na, an ambitious woman who flies for New Zealan to find greener pastures, leaving her boyfriend and family behind.

"Because I Hate Korea" is a movie adapted from the 2015 novel of the same name written by Chang Kang Myoung.
