The South Korean heartthrob is booked and busy this 2023, and the sports-themed film, directed by Lee Byung Hun, is his newest project.

Park Seo Joon Reveals Watching Son Heung Min to Get Inspiration

In the forthcoming movie "Dream," Park Seo Joon plays as famed soccer player Yoon Hong Dae, who was given a second chance to coach an amateur team after he got on probation due to disciplinary actions.

Since his character is a professional athlete, Park Seo Joon was spotted multiple times watching South Korean soccer player Son Heung Min on the field.

When asked if he received any sports-related advice from his best friend, Son Heung Min, he said that he watches a lot of his matches and does "a lot of image training" as preparation.

Moreover, he also revealed that he took photos of him playing and tried to create a similar image as his celebrity friend.

"I tried to go to the stadium a lot," he added.

To recall, Park Seo Joon was seen showing his support to his friend Son Heung Min in England back in 2019. At the time, he said that he had seen a lot of soccer matches on TV but was his first time watching it in person.

The actor has done a few sports movies and shows, like transforming as a boxer in "Fight for My Way." Despite it, he has done a lot of physical training for his new role. He said he undergoes various trainings and exercises, specifically for his lower body, since the "strength of an athlete seems to come from the core."
