Victoria's Secret Fashion Show 2013: All About Taylor Swift's Performance Plus Her Model Friends And Frenemy

The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show 2013 aired today on CBS - the show that has had the Internet abuzz for months about Taylor Swift's performance, as well as her friendships (and non-friendships) with some of the Victoria's Secret Angels. The lingerie show has always made headlines, mainly because of the supermodels it sends down the runway and the elaborate outfits they appear in. This year however, it's also making news because of the blonde pop star.  

Taylor Swift performed two songs at the event. One was with the band Fall Out Boy, opening the show with their hit, "My Songs Know What You Did in the Dark (Light 'Em Up)", and one was by herself, singing her single, "I Knew You Were Trouble." She strutted about the stage in Victoria's Secret's trademark intricate outfits, which consisted of a glam Union Jack number, and a sparkling mini dress - both of which made her normally wholesome image seem a whole lot sexier.

The songstress made some fast friends with the models at the show. Angels Lily Aldridge and Karlie Kloss have both been gushing a lot about their friendships with her.

Aldridge, who posted an Instagram picture of her and Swift holding hands on the runway with the caption, "Runway love fest with @TaylorSwift #vsfashionshow," has been friends with the singer for a while. The model told US Weekly, "[Taylor] is one of my best friends, so we had so much fun together."

Kloss on the other hand, was totally charmed by Swift during the show. "She is my new BFF. I'm obsessed with her. She's really, really sweet, and I was so glad that she was a part of the show this year. She just brought such an energy," she told Hollywood Take.

Swift also tweeted a Polaroid shot of her backstage with Aldridge and other Angels, Erin Heatherton and Cara Delevingne. The photo said, "Best friends forever VS13."

Not all of the models were thrilled about her though. Swift made a frenemy of Jessica Hart, who expressed her feelings to WWD at the after-party, and said quite a mouthful: "I think, you know what, god bless her heart. I think she's great," she said. "But, I don't know, to me, she didn't fit. I don't know if I should say that. I think what you find is that for a lot of us, we've been working for 14, 15 years; what it takes to make it here comes from experience and confidence and knowing how to be confident with yourself. I think it comes with age. It's definitely the benchmark of all jobs." Then she proceeded to retract her statement soon after, saying that she adored the singer.

Taylor Swift's friends and frenemy will either be glad or mad come 2014. Will she be back for next year's runway strut? One thing's for sure - she made an impact on the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show 2013.
