Park Eun Bin's Baeksang Arts Awards 2023 speech gained attention after the Daesang-recipient got emotional on stage.

The actress bagged the Grand Prize of the ceremony following her amazing performance in ENA's "Extraordinary Attorney Woo." However, the award-winning actress was criticized by a talk show host, who compared her to veteran actresses.

Park Eun Bin Must 'Learn' From Veterans Like Song Hye Kyo, Says Host

In a broadcast of "Jung Young Jin, Choi Wook's Maebul Show," the 59th Baeksang Arts Awards became a hot topic. Kim Gap Soo mentioned a lengthy acceptance speech and how a celebrity would spend "about 80-90 percent" thanking several individuals.

On the other hand, host Choi Wook said that it's the artist's way of showing "sincerity" towards the people he or she worked with or supported him or her. But instead, Kim Gap Soo pointed out that sincerity should be "expressed privately."

Following this, he took a swipe at Park Eun Bin's acceptance speech after the actress couldn't help but shed tears while thanking her team.

He pointed out that the "Extraordinary Attorney Woo" star is not a rookie actress and is used to being on stage and in front of a large crowd.

"However, she kept wiping her nose while receiving the award," he added, as obtained by a media outlet, adding that he noticed that Park Eun Bin bowed not just once but "more than 30 times before coming onto the stage."

"What kind of etiquette is that?" he further said.

"You should keep a sense of dignity," he said, adding that Park Eun Bin is not 18 anymore and should "learn from Song Hye Kyo."

"Tang Wei and Song Hye Kyo's behaviors are textbooks, so please look at them," he added.

Park Eun Bin's Acceptance Speech Highlights

One of the memorable parts of the 59th Baeksang Arts Awards was Park Eun Bin's heartfelt acceptance speech after she was hailed as this year's Daesang awardee. The actress couldn't hold back her tears after receiving one of the biggest awards of the night.

The actress acknowledged the efforts made by "Extraordinary Attorney Woo" and spoke about her initial hesitation about getting the titular role.

Moreover, the actress also recalled how she used to dream of being an actress and couldn't imagine that she would walk on stage and accept an award.

"When I was younger, I thought to myself that if I didn't give up on acting, I would love to receive a Daesang as an adult," she said, and thanked eveyone for making her dream come true.

Park Eun Bin started as a child actress at age 5, and eventually made a name for herself as one of Hallyu's versatile stars.

After the ENA series, viewers are waiting for her reprisal of her role in the second season.

Interestingly, while things are yet to be confirmed with "Extraordinary Attoprney Woo" season 2, Park Eun Bin will headline the upcoming series "Diva of the Deserted Island," alongside Chae Jong Hyeop.
