Hwang Minhyun’s Romance Drama With Kim So Hyun to Air in THIS Month
Idol-actor Hwang Minhyun is making his immediate comeback this year with Kim So Hyun in a new romance series to be released in this month.
'Useless Lies' Starring Hwang Minhyun & Kim So Hyun To Premiere This July
The forthcoming drama "Useless Lies" has completed its cast members, namely Hwang Minhyun, Kim So Hyun, Yoon Ji On, Seo Ji Hoon, and Lee Si Woo. The drama is also confirmed to premiere in July, and will occupy tvN's Monday and Tuesday slots.
The mystery-romance series tells the story of a woman who can hear lies and, a murder suspect who no one believes is innocent.
What We Know So Far About 'Useless Lies'
In the forthcoming series, Kim So Hyun transforms into Mok Sol Hee, who has a supernatural ability to hear lies, which makes her lose trust in people.
Hwang Minhyun is Kim Do Ha, a mysterious guy, who excels in writing and producing music in Korea. He gets involved with Mok Sol Hee and begins to recover from his lonely life.
This marks his next lead drama following "Alchemy of Souls."
Seo Ji Hoon, who appeared in the thriller-mystery series "Revenge of Others," will play the role of Lee Kang Min, Mok Sol Hee's first love. He meets his ex-girlfriend again for the first time.
According to the actor, he is excited to portray his role as a police officer and showcase his new and diverse side of him.

Kim So Hyun Excited To Make Her Drama Comeback After Hiatus
The actress mentioned that she's excited to be with the actors, director, and creatives of the drama. Since she has been on hiatus for two years, the actress is preparing to show a new and fun side of her performance through her new character Mok Sol Hee.
This is her first drama after "River Where the Moon Rises" in 2021.
"Useless Lies" cast and crew had their script reading in February giving the public a sneak peek of their synergy.
K-drama fans are already looking forward to Hwang Minhyun and Kim So Hyun's first team-up. Though the production confirmed that "Useless Lies" will air in July, the exact date is yet to be announced.
