‘Stealer: The Treasure Keeper’ Episode 7-8: Joo Won & Lee Joo Woo Take Down Lee Deok Hwa

Joo Won and Lee Joo Woo grow closer together in "Stealer: The Treasure Keeper" episodes 7 to 8. Together, they raid Lee Deok Hwa's vault for cultural antiques.

Dr. Ko Betrays Karma

Skunk (Joo Won), Karma and Dr. Ko (Choi Jung Woo) all work together to retrieve the highly coveted antique Joseon coins.

Unfortunately, Choi Min Woo (Lee Joo Woo) gets injured during the mission. Skunk is quick on his feet and tends to her wounds before they escape.

Karma rushes to the hospital after Shin Chang Hoon (Kim Jae Won) gets in a fight with Viper (Kim Jae Chul).

Unbeknownst to them, Dr. Ko has betrayed them, revealing that he's working alongside Viper. He then tosses the other Joseon coin to him.

Karma's Last Ditch Effort

What Dr. Ko doesn't know that Karma is a million steps ahead of him. Captain Jang (Jo Han Chul) put a tracker on the coin, which is actually a replica of the real Joseon coin.

On the other hand, Jin Ae Ri (Min Su Hwa), Hwang Dae Myung's (Hwang Dae Myung) subordinate, learns that her boss and Skunk are the same person.

Panicked, Skunk asks the young detective to be his partner. She hesitantly agrees despite being confused. Karma works hard to keep over 150,000 cultural artifacts safe from Kim Young Soo's (Lee Deok Hwa) greedy hands.

They plot how to break into his vault to retrieve everything he stole in the past. The tracker in the coin helps them locate his place, which is unfortunately booby-trapped.

Skunk Reveals Dark Past

While they carefully create a plan, romance grows between Ms. Lee and Captain Jang who are slowly getting to know one another due to the close proximity. Choi Min Woo, on the other hand, reminisces about her tender moments with Skunk at their previous mission.

She and Hwang Dae Myung go downstairs to eat some noodles to cheer up the pensive detective. The thunder roars suddenly, sending the latter into panic after he remembers how his family died.

Skunk & Choi Min Woo's Suicide Mission

Hwang Dae Myung also remembers how Skunk was born: he tried to steal Ms. Lee's Buddha statue that was once stolen from Korea.

It turns out that the plans Skunk had been trying to accomplish was his father's mission before he was murdered along with his beloved mother.

Skunk believes that he will be able to find the murderers when he finishes the list. Ms. Lee then vows to help him fulfill his life-long goal.

Ms. Lee comes up with a new plan. Karma sends Choi Min Woo as a masseuse after learning that Kim Young Soo visits the massage spa twice a week.

Skunk, who has a crush on Choi Min Woo, is appalled by the idea. To their surprise, Karma succeeds.

The following day, Skunk and Choi Min Woo set off to Kim Young Soo's vault. Little did they know, the thief knew their plan all along, and that he prepared an unpleasant surprise for the two.
