Is Oh Sehun Too Old For High School Role?
TVING's new campus-romance drama "All That We Loved" made its debut last May 5. It stars young celebrities namely, Sehun, Jo Joon Young, and Jang Yeo Bin. The trio was quick to captivate many with their fresh visuals.
Oh Sehun plays the role of Go Yoo, an 18-year-old high school student who excels in basketball. One day, he finds himself donating his kidney to his best friend.
While the series has a light theme and the script is mostly well-received by the audience, some viewers have criticized Oh Sehun's casting and acting, claiming that the idol-actor looks old for the role.
According to people, Sehun, who is 29 years old, looks too mature for the character of a high school student, and it is not uncommon for actors to play student roles even in their 30s.
Others are also arguing that the age gap between the co-stars is too noticeable, making them feel awkward.

Meanwhile, playing a student at the age of 30 is not a problem as many actors still play that role even if they are already in their thirties Song Joong Ki, Hwang In Yeop, Kim Tae Ri, Park Bo Young, to name a few.
