Jun Ji Hyun Reportedly Buys ‘Most Expensive Apartment’ in Seoul — in Cash!
Besides her Hallyu queen status, Jun Ji Hyun is among the celebrities who are considered "real estate magnates" after acquiring another multi-million-dollar property.
The award-winning actress sure knows how to invest and make money by building her real estate portfolio with high-end properties.
Jun Ji Hyun's New Home is Worth THIS Much!
In a report cited by a media outlet, the "My Sassy Girl" star acquired a posh apartment in Seoul back in September 2022, amounting to 13 billion KRW, or around 9.8 million USD.
JoongAng Ilbo cited that Jun Ji Hyun's new home sits at the top floor of the Acro Seoul Forest Office Tower in Seoul. The commercial and residential area is also home to various celebrities, including SHINee's Taemin, Lee Jae Hoon, singer Kim Dong Ryul, CNBLUE's Minhyuk and more.
In addition, the building is also where SM Entertainment transferred their head office.
Further, Jun Ji Hyun's house is located on the 47th floor, or penthouse, of the building and is said to be around 264 square meters.
The newly-purchased home is also believed to be the "most expensive apartment" in Seoul as of 2022, making the actress and her husband Choi Jun Hyuk the owners of the property.
Interestingly, besides living in one of the lavish apartments in Seoul, the Hallyu star reportedly paid the property in cash. As mentioned by the same outlet, Jun Ji Hyun and her husband are both the owners of the real estate. The actress has 12/13 shares, or 12 billion won, while it's 1/13, or 1 billion won, for her husband.

On the other hand, Jun Ji Hyun's representative did not give any further details regarding the actress' newly-acquired estate due to privacy matters.
"I am sorry that it is difficult to tell you because the agency does not know the details because it is a personal part of the actor," the representative said.
To recall, this is not the first time that the Hallyu star has made headlines after making a real estate purchase.
Jun Ji Hyun's Real Estate Portfolio
Back in March 2022, outlets revealed that the "Jirisan" star bought a shopping mall for 50.5 billion won. The three-story commercial building located in Seoul was acquired under Jun Ji Hyun's name.
Apart from it, she also owns the I-Park Samsung Apartment in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, and four large real estate units in Seoul.
From real estate, Jun Ji Hyun's income comes from her on-screen appearances, and she is also in talks to return to the small screen with a new drama, "Polaris."
On top of that, she is also the brand ambassador for various brands like Fila, Burberry, STONEHENgE and more.
