Gong Yoo Instagram: Actor Shows Off Drool-Worthy Body

On Gong Yoo's Instagram, the actor dons teal board shorts, showing off his drool-worthy physique as he dives 360 degrees into the pool.

Who would have thought that with those ripped shoulders, the South Korean hearthrob is in his early forties?

Apart from his head-turning beach body, the top star flaunted his swimming skills as he smoothly glided into the water.

Based on Gong Yoo's Instagram post, the actor took some time off his busy schedule and flew to Bali, Indonesia, to unwind.

He described Gong Yoo as "a chill dude who lives next door." Moreover, he also revealed that he goes to the gym almost every day, especially if he is preparing for an upcoming project, hence his drool worthy body.

"When he's getting ready for a show, he tries to become that character," personal trainer Yoon Tae Sik shared, adding, "For instance, for his movie "The Suspect," he had to look like a special forces agent, so he ate and worked out like real athletes."

Is Gong Yoo Having a New K-Drama?

Besides being active on Instagram, Gong Yoo's last K-drama appearance was the Netflix sci-fi series "The Silent Sea," where he starred alongside Bae Doona, Lee Joon, Lee Moo Saeng, Kim Sun Young, and more.

He took on the role of Han Yun Jae, a soldier for the space agency and the leader of the space expedition.

Interetingly, Gong Yoo is in talks to return to the small screen with an interesting project.

Back in February 2023, outlets cited that he was selected to team-up with Seo Hyun Jin for the forthcoming romance drama.

Following the news, their agency, Management SOOP, confirmed that "Gong Yoo and Seo Hyun Jin have received offers to star in "Trunk'" and are positively reviewing the offer.

The series is based on the novel of the same name, which revolves around the story of families arranged by the fixed-term marriage service agency NM.

"Trunk" is helmed by "Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo," "Our Blues," "It's Okay, That's Love," and "Live" director Kim Gyu Tae and penned by Park Eun Young of "Hwarang."

If Gong Yoo officially accepts the offer, he will play the role of Han Jung Won, a music producer who doesn't believe in marriage, while Seo Hyun Jin is NM's deputy head, Noh In Ji, who prioritizes her career over love.
