'The Silent Sea'

The 2021 sci-fi thriller series "The Silent Sea" enjoyed great reception from the public all thanks to its impressive narrative, realistic CGI (computer graphics) and star-studded cast.

It stars Gong Yoo, Bae Doona and Lee Joon who all play the roles of space explorers in a research center on the moon, trying to retrieve undisclosed research samples for their work.

Though it's mostly sci-fi, it perfectly blends the thriller and mystery genres, which is a treat to see in the media.

'Sweet Home'

When it comes to sci-fi K-Dramas, Song Kang's "Sweet Home" is definitely in the top list. The series tells the story of a high school student who moves into an old apartment building which houses monsters that ruin humanity and equilibrium.

It marks Song Kang's first ever dystopian series, and it was lauded for its sensible story-telling and groundbreaking plot which earned the work the green light for a new season.

'Black Knight'

Kim Woo Bin is back in the acting scene with a new dystopian work entitled "Black Knight"! It depicts the immense sacrifices of "knights" who deliver goods to its recipients amidst the life-threatening pollution in 2071 South Korea.

In addition, Kim Woo Bin and his team also give their best to overthrow the government that exploits the natural calamity to corrupt the country's wealth.

Park Seo Joon and Han So Hee are the chosen ones to put an end to humanity's fear in the upcoming dystopian series "Gyeongseong Creature."

The drama follows the psychological warfare and survival of people in a world that is dominated by monsters that endanger their lives.

It also hints at the possibility of a new romance amidst chaos manifested between Park Seo Joon and Han So Hee.

'Moving'

Go Yoon Jung, Ryu Seung Ryong, Han Hyo Joo, Jo In Sung and more are set to decorate the upcoming fantasy series "Moving" this 2023.
