Helmed by Jung Ji Hyun of "The King: Eternam Monarch," "Twenty-Five Twenty-One," and "You Are My Spring," the forthcoming K-drama is based on the best-selling novel of the same name that follows the story of a woman living in a strange house.
As seen in the latest teaser, "House With a Yard" featured the two female leads, Lim Ji Yeon and Kim Tae Hee standing side by side, exuding a powerful stare.
The upcoming K-drama stimulates curiosity as the official poster includes an intriguing phrase that reads, "The backyard smells like a corpse."

In "House With a Yard," Kim Tae Hee takes on the role of Joo Ran, a woman who seems to have everything, from loving family to an amazing house, not until she gets disturbed by the strange smell in the backyard.
On the other hand, Lim Ji Yeon, who plays Sang Eun, lives a completely different life. She is a victim of domestic violence, and her only goal is to escape her hellish marriage.
With Kim Tae Hee and Lim Ji Yeon headlining the suspense thriller K-drama, this raises expectations for their on-screen chemistry in "House With a Yard."
Besides the duo, the upcoming K-drama also features a roster of talented stars.
Kim Sung Oh, who appeared in the hit Netflix series "Money Heist: Korea," takes on the role of Jae Ho. He is the husband of Joo Ran and is described as a perfectionist doctor.
Viewers will get to see the two opposite sides of his character, switching back and forth from being a doting husband to a cold and unpredictable person.
Adding to the list of "House With a Yard" cast members is Choi Jae Rim, who portrays Sang Eun's husband, Yoon Beom. He plays a manipulative character who doesn't hesitate to beat his wife.

Finally, after starting production in the second half of 2022, "House With a Yard" updates viewers with the official premiere date of the series.
Viewers will get to see Kim Tae Hee and Lim Ji Yeon's new drama on June 19, with a total of eight episodes.
