‘The Secret Romantic Guesthouse’ Episode 17: Kang Hoon Ends Battle Against Oh Man Seok
Jang Tae Hwa (Oh Man Seok) died at Kim Si Yeol's (Kang Hoon) hands. However, Kim Si Yeol's tearful appearance at the tragic fate of his enemy raised tension in "The Secret Romantic Guesthouse" episode 17.
'The Secret Romantic Guesthouse' Episode 17: Kang San & Kim Si Yeol Plan of Rescuing Jung Yoo Ha
Jung Yoo Ha (Jung Gun Ju) was arrested by the soldiers and taken directly to the palace. Meanwhile, Kang San (Ryeo Un), Kim Si Yeol, Yoon Dan Oh (Shin Ye Eun), and Yoon Hong Joo (Cho Hye Joo) returned to their original hideout.
Yoon Hong Joo showed her disappointment after knowing Kim Si Yeol's identity and acted coldly toward him later on.
On the other hand, Jang Tae Hwa was praised by Lee Chang (Hyun Woo) for his great contribution to catching Lee Seol and threatened Sang Sun (Lee Joon Hyuk), who reported the fake Lee Seol.

Meanwhile, Kang San found Shin Won Ho and decided to join forces. In response, Kim Si Yeol told Kang San that it would be better to reveal that he is the real Lee Seol, but Kang San explained that for the peace of all, he should not reveal his identity in public.
Kim Si Yeol urgently visited the temple where he trained watchmen, and was angry when the old monk died, leaving behind the news that the children raised as watchmen were taken to Hanseongbu.
Jang Tae Hwa Dies Under Kim Si Yeol's Hands
When everyone was in trouble due to the battle, Yoon Dan Oh kept on eavesdropping outside and decided to use her skills taught by Kang San, to help other soldiers. Kang Sang was hesitant to allow her but eventually decided to accompany her.
Yoon Dan Oh and Banya entered the palace and disguised themselves as dancers, while Kang San and Kim Si Yeol disguised themselves to fulfill their mission to save Jung Yoo Ha. They saw Jang Tae Hwa and discovered they were planning to kill Jung Yoo Ha.
Kang San's group made their move which alarmed Jang Tae Hwa. Kim Si Yeol sent Kang San first and had a bloody battle with Jang Tae Hwa. After the exchange of attack, Si Yeol was able to defeat Tae Hwa, who died immediately.
