Lim Ji Yeon's New Drama: Actress Positively Considering Upcoming Historical Series
In a report cited by STARNEWS, the award-winning actress is courted to play the main lead of JTBC's historical drama "Tale of Mrs. Ok."
Meanwhile, Lim Ji Yeon's agency, Artist Company, confirmed the news, saying that this is "one of the projects that she received an offer for."
According to the media outlet, "Tale of Mrs. Ok" is an upcoming historical K-drama that focuses on the survival of a female slave during the Joseon Dynasty.

If Lim Ji Yeon officially accepts the offer, she will take on the role of Goo Deok, the slave who faked her identity to survive. As she abandons her past, Goo Deok lives as a mistress.
With Lim Ji Yeon's new drama, viewers are thrilled to see the actress in a sageuk drama.
On the other hand, the 32-year-old beauty has new and upcoming K-dramas lined up for her apart from the offered "Tale of Mrs. Ok."
Lim Ji Yeon Dramas After 'The Glory'
After "The Glory," Lim Ji Yeon continues to dominate the small screen with new K-dramas this year. She will star alongside fellow Hallyu star in the soon-to-be released mystery-thriller series "House With a Yard," also known as "Lies Hidden in My Garden."
Viewers are looking forward to the highly anticipated team-up between Lim Ji Yeon and Kim Tae Hee as they portray the roles of two women who live completely different lives.
Set to be released on June 19, Lim Ji Yeon takes on the role of Sang Eun, a victim of domestic violence, who dreams of leaving her hellish life.
On the other hand, Kim Tae Hee plays Joo Ran. Unlike Sang Eun, it seems like everything is perfect for her. From having a wonderful family, a great marriage, and a nice house, not until she discovers the mystery at her yard.
Directed by Jun Ji Hyun of "The King: Eternal Monarch," "Twenty-Five Twenty-One," and "You Are My Spring," the new K-drama "House With a Yard" cast also includes "Money Heist: Korea" actor Kim Sung Oh and Choi Jae Rim of "Green Mother's Club" as the male leads.
Viewers will get to watch the intense chemistry between two top stars as the upcoming series airs through ENA.
Apart from this, Lim Ji Yeon is also headlining the upcoming K-drama "National Death Penalty Vote." The SBS thriller K-drama also stars Park Hae Jin and Park Sung Woong as the main characters.
