Will Lee Junho earn the new title "Rom-Com King" with his upcoming K-drama? Here's a sneak peek of his transformation in the forthcoming "King the Land"!

'King the Land' Stills: Lee Junho Showcases Chic & Cold Persona as Chaebol Heir

Ahead of its scheduled release, "King the Land" dropped new character stills of Lee Junho. In the provided photos, the actor captivated the public with his different personas.

2PM's Lee Junho transformed into a director of the King Hotel, Gu Won, showing a cold expression who has little patience for others .

Despite being rich, genius, and handsome chaebol that every man would envy, he has no talent when it comes to dating due to his picky and stubborn personality.

It has been said that Gu Won's heart has seemingly frozen over as it has been a long time since his last romantic relationship.

Fast forward to the present, Gu Won returns to Korea and manages the King Hotel. It is also his opportunity to recover his memories with his mother.

During his return, the chaebol meets his polar opposite, Cheon Sa Rang (Lim YoonA), who is a new employee in his hotel.

They have a lot of differences, from their personalities to their backgrounds, yet Cheon Sa Rang eventually manages to melt Gu Won's ice-cold heart.

In one of the stills, Gu Won shows his uncharacteristic shy smile.

Lee Junho Clashes With Im YoonA in 'King the Land' Teaser

Apart from the stills, on May 18, JTBC also gifted viewers with the drama's third teaser. The clip started with Gu Won making his grand entrance by jumping from a private airplane. As one of the superiors in King Hotel, he appears to have everything he could want.

However, there are three things Gu Won does not have: a house savings account, laughter, and romance.

He hates fake smiles and against laughter, awkwardly raising the side of his lip when asked to smile for a picture.

He also prohibits Cheon Sa Rang from smiling, or else she will lose her job. In addition, his blunt attitude is no help as he frankly tells Cheon Sa Rang that she is not his type.

With back-to-back teasers from the production, viewers are excited to finally witness the on-screen chemistry of Lee Junho and Lim YoonA in "King the Land."

Through this series, many are anticipating whether Lee Junho will be able to earn the new title of "Rom-Com King."

"King the Land" premieres this coming June 17 at 10:30 p.m. (KST) on JTBC.
