Song Joong Ki, Kim Seon Ho, and Lee Joon Hyuk are ready to meet the viewers with their new roles as they transform into villains in their upcoming projects this 2023.

Song Joong Ki - 'Hopeless'

The actor will get rid of his soft image and return with a rough visual this year. After showing off a warm vibe in "Reborn Rich," Song Joong Ki is expected to captivate the audience with the opposite charm in his upcoming film "Hopeless."

Directed by Kim Chang Hwan, "Hopeless" depicts the story of a boy who wants to escape from the hellish reality, meeting the middle boss of the organization and joining the world in jeopardy.

Song Joong Ki will try to make an intense and unconventional acting transformation by becoming a middle boss. The "Vincenzo" lead star also expressed his affection for the project and character:

"It is a movie that I am curious of how the scenes would be portrayed from the time I read the script."

In addition, ahead of its release, the noir film received an invitation to the 76th Cannes International Film Festival in which Song Joong Ki will make his red carpet debut.

Kim Seon Ho - 'The Childe'

Kim Seon Ho marks his big screen debut through "The Childe," also known as "Sad Tropics," which will be released on June 21 in cinemas.

It follows the story of the chaotic chase that results when the mysterious childe, along with other forces, embarks on separate missions that aim to pursue Marco, a boxer who is in search of his Korean father and travels from one illegal arena to another in the Philippines.

The "Start-Up" actor takes the role of Childe, a mysterious chaser who makes Marco's life a mess. Kim Seon Ho is excited to show a new face that has never been shown before. In particular, "The Childe" gained huge attention as soon as Kim Seon Ho's teaser poster and video were released.

Lee Joon Hyuk - 'The Roundup: No Way Out'

He has completely transformed into Joo Sung Chul, a monster villain in the soo-to-release movie "The Outlaws 3." Lee Joon Hyuk has shown various spectrums of acting in the dramas "Stranger," "60 Days: Designated Survivor," and "Along With the Gods."

The actor is said to have his most powerful character in "The Outlaws 3" also known as "The Roundup: No Way Out." He will be the third actor to play an antagonist in the movie following the footsteps of Yoon Kye Sang and Son Suk Ku.
