Moon So Ri Recalls Awkward Award Ceremony Situation After Her ‘Armpit Hair’ Became Trending Topic
Moon So Ri recalled the time when her look for the award ceremony unexpectedly became a trending topic.
The actress is one of the most sought after lead stars of her generation due to her unconventional roles and outstanding performances.
With this, there's no doubt why her name is often included in various nominations, whether for a film or series.
Interestingly, during her appearance for Harper's Bazaar Korea, the award winning actress spoke about her outfit looks and dished on unforgettable stories behind it.
Moon So Ri Shares Hilarious Story About Her Viral 'Armpit Hair' During a Ceremony
In a segment called "Fashion Timeline," the publication showed Moon So Ri some of her notable outfits throughout the years.
The first show was the premiere of her 2002 film "Oasis," where she flew to Paris, France, to promote the film.
She revealed that she didn't have a manager or a stylist at the time, hence, she opted for a foolproof outfit: a knitted white long sleeve top.

On the other hand, as the publication flashed more looks of Moon So Ri through the years, the actress admitted that she's not into fashion and depends on her stylist for her public appearances.
Interestingly, Moon So Ri revealed her most favorite dress of all time, and it would be the 2018 Baeksang Arts Awards gown, where she walked the red carpet wearing a classic long black dress with thin straps that complimented her sexy shoulders.
"I was in the best mood that day," she said, adding, "My husband received an award for '1987,'" referring to director Jang Joon Hwan.
As for her red carpet look, the actress said that she usually likes simple and classy looks, just like what she was wearing.
However, as she detailed more of her red carpet moments, Moon So Ri recalled the time when she became a trending topic on Google.
"There is a photo of me holding my hand up. As I was getting ready to head out, they recommended I shave my armpits, but I rejected. 'I won't put my hand up. There is no reason to'" she explained.
Little did she know that there would be people greeting her on the red carpet, and she had to wave back.
"People said hi to me, so I waved," she said, adding, "One of my recommended searches was 'Moon So Ri armpit hair'. My armpit is almost hairless. But people zoomed in so much. Those that found it really have a lot of interest in me."
Moon So Ri To Play Older Version of IU in a New Drama
After the huge success of her Netflix series "QueenMaker" with Kim Hee Ae, the award-winning star will return to the small screen with an interesting role.
She will play the older version of IU in the upcoming romance series "You Have Done Well."
Moon So Ri will be teaming up with "The World of the Married '' star Park Hae Joon, who played the middle aged version of Park Bo Gum.
