The long-awaited movie "Concrete Utopia" featuring Lee Byung Hun, Park Seo Joon, and Park Bo Young has officially announced the release date and given viewers a sneak peek at what to anticipate in the film.

"Concrete Utopia" is a disaster film that tells the story of a group of survivors who gather at the Hwang Goong apartment, the only building that remains safe in the earthquake that happened in Seoul.

"Squid Game" actor Lee Byung Hun is Young Tak, the new leader of the apartment residents, who is willing to take risks in protecting the place from outsiders.
Park Seo Joon takes the character of Min Sung, a man who does everything to keep his family and residence safe from disaster. Returning actress, Park Bo Young is Min Sung's wife who works as a nurse, she will exhibit her on-screen chemistry with the K-drama heartthrob.
Disaster Film 'Concrete Utopia' To Be Released This August
Lotte Entertainment unveiled a teaser poster that showcases the sole remaining apartment amidst a city devastated by an earthquake.

There's also a caption that reads, "Everything collapsed except our apartment," interest from the audience grows as they get curious about the individuals who survived the disaster.
In addition, a video teaser was also provided by the film production company.
At the beginning of the clip, Young Tak speaks, "I felt that Hwang Goong apartment was chosen." As the video continued, the three main protagonists shed new light amidst the chaos in Seoul.
According to the video, "Concrete Utopia" is expected to hit cinemas this coming August. This will be Park Seo Joon's next silver screen project following his movie "Dream" with IU last April.
This is also one of Park Bo Young's new projects for 2023. She is gearing up for a small screen comeback also through Netflix's "Daily Dose of Sunshine."
"Concrete Utopia" is almost three years delayed since the production announced the cast members to star in the film in 2021.
