Lim Ji Yeon Shares Experience Doing 'Lies Hidden in My Garden'
Lim Ji Yeon will wear a new hat for her upcoming series "Lies Hidden in My Garden." The actress immerses herself in a new challenging role following the success of "The Glory."
At the beginning of June, the production team of the drama dropped an interview featuring the female lead.
The suspense drama "Lies Hidden in My Garden" is based on the famous and best-selling novel of the same name. It follows the narrative of Moon Joo Ran and Chu Sang Eun, who are living completely opposite life, getting intertwined after an unintentional encounter.
For her small screen return, Lim Ji Yeon takes on the character of Chu Sang Eun, a victim of domestic violence who desperately wants to escape from her harsh reality.
According to her, she fell in love after reading the book and the script, which made her consider accepting any role just to be part of the project.

The story of two seemingly different women discovering unexpected similarities impressed the actress. The narrative was compelling that reading it made her want to live the characters' lives through acting immediately.
Kim Tae Hee Praises Lim Ji Yeon
Meanwhile, in another interview, Kim Tae Hee, who is marking her acting return through this project, also shared her thoughts and experience of working on the series and with Lim Ji Yeon.
The top actress praised her co-star for her powerful performance and absorption into the character. Kim Tae Hee said, "Lim Ji Yeon plays Chu Sang Eun with the utmost detail, realism, and sincerity."
She continued, "I could more easily immerse myself playing Moon Joo Ran because Lim Ji Yeon completely became the character."
This project is a dream come true for Lim Ji Yeon as she was eagerly waiting for it to happen and wanted to work with Kim Tae Hee. "The Glory" star added that the "Stairway to Heaven" actress was nice to her and was able to work with perfect harmony.
Catch Kim Tae Hee and Lim Ji Yeon's first on-screen project together through "Lies Hidden in My Garden." The drama will premiere on June 19 on Genie TV's primetime.
