Nam Ji Hyun's 'Hi Cookie' To Premiere This 2023
On June 14, the production unit of the thriller drama "Hi Cookie" finally announced its long awaited release.
Starring Nam Ji Hyun, Choi Hyun Wook and Kim Moo Yeol, "Hi Cookie" depicts an elite high school institution that gets swallowed up by mysterious handmade cookies that make people's dreams come true.
The work centers on the hardships and sacrficies of an orphaned woman who risks her life by jumping into swamp water to save her beloved sister.
"Little Women" star Nam Ji Hyun takes on the role of Choi Soo Young, an 18-year-old young woman who works part-time at a factory to fend for herself and her younger sister.
Meanwhile, "Weak Hero Class 1" star Choi Hyun Wook plays Seo Ho Soo, a top student at the best private institution in South Korea. Unfortunately for him, he's a school violence victim.

Seasoned actor Kim Moo Yeol joins the drama as Yoo Sung Pil, a college admissions consultant who voluntarily comes to Jeonghan High School to serve the institution.
"Hi Cookie" guarantees to bring a suspenseful narrative that is laced with youthful sensibilities created through the three actors' synergy.
The production unit of the series shares that "Hi Cookie" is in its post production phase, and it's set to greet the viewers in the third quarter of the year.
'Hi Cookie' Marks LG's First Original Work
While it's a highly anticipated work among viewers as it stars big names in the Hallyu scene, "Hi Cookie" also creates buzz as LG's first original drama.
The suspense thriller series is written by screenwriter Kang Han and directed by "Youth of May" creator Song Min Yeob for STUDIO X+U.
It's LG U+'s content specialist studio. In particular, "Hi Cookie" will be streamed through U+ Mobile TV as its first ever original drama.
