Helmed by Jung Ji Hyun, the genius behind smash hit K-drama "The King: Eternal Monarch," "You Are My Spring," and Twenty-Five Twenty-One," the upcoming series is based on the webtoon "Lies Hidden in My Backyard," which depicts the story of two women who live a completely different life.
Kim Tae Hee plays Moon Joo Ran, who seemed to have a perfect life. She grew up in a wealthy family and married a loving husband. However, things turned out different after she discovered a mysterious secret in their backyard.
On the other hand, Lim Ji Yeon took on the role of Choo Sang Eun. While everyone thinks Joo Ran's life is picture-perfect, Sang Eun is living a hellish life.
She is experiencing domestic abuse from her husband and wants to escape from her current situation. Interestingly, this is where she meets Moon Joo Ran.

During her interview with the SBS radio show, Kim Tae Hee hints at what to expect in her role.
She said that the focus of "Lies Hidden in My Garden" is a story of a woman "who believes that she has a stable life as a housewife with a handsome doctor husband, but cracks begin to appear in her life when she detects a strange smell coming from the yard." Because of this, Joo Ran "suspects everything around her."
Besides a teaser, Kim Tae Hee also expressed her affection towards her co-star, praising how Lim Ji Yeon perfectly played the character "with dark emotions and depression due to domestic violence."
The actress said that she "was amazed" with how Lim Ji Yeon performed on the set".
"I think Lim Ji Yeon's presence on set as Sang Eun allowed me to evoke those emotions well," she added, as obtained by a media outlet.
"Lies Hidden in My Garden" is slated to be released on June 19, via ENA and will be the newest Monday and Tuesday K-drama.

Apart from making her K-drama comeback, Kim Tae Hee is also active on social media.
Although she likes to keep her personal life private, she often posts behind-the-scenes photos of her activities, including shoots and K-drama filming.
However, the actress says that she is not a pro when it comes to selfies.
Despite being one of the pretty faces in Hallyu, the actress says that she doesn't do this often because she is "not good at taking selfies.
Kim Tae Hee also revealed why she refuses to edit her posts because of one thing.
"Editing photos with apps also takes quite a lot of time, so I only adjust the filters and layouts. I don't do anything else," she explained.
As of this writing, Kim Tae Hee's Instagram has over 584,000 followers, and her latest upload was from the "Lies Hidden in My Garden" press conference.
