Kim Tae Hee Reveals the Turning Point in her Acting Career

Kim Tae Hee showed off her youthful charms as she graced Arena Homme+ Korea's latest issue.

Besides her head turning visuals, the actress spoke about her career and plans for the future.

Dazzling with her effortless charm, the Hallyu queen flaunted fierce poses in a black-and-white shoot.

Besides the photo shoot, the actress also did an interview with Arena Homme+ Korea's team, where she spoke about her thoughts about her K-drama comeback and recalled a remarkable project.

Kim Tae Hee Shares How Special the Movie "Grand Prix" is For Her

Known for her hit K-dramas like "Stairway to Heaven", "Love Story in Harvard", "IRIS" and "Hi Bye, Mama!" she also had a slew of notable movies under her belt. 

From historical films like "The Restless" to "IRIS: The Movie," there's no doubt why she is considered one of the legendary Hallyu queens of her time. 

However, Kim Tae Hee says that her 2010 film "Grand Prix" served as a turning point in her acting career.

She talks about how she was able to showcase her talent with the character she portrayed and deliver it flawlessly. 

"I learned things like 'I can immerse myself in a character to that extent', 'I can interpret and express the same scene in different ways', and 'I need these things to bring a scene to life,'" she explained, as obtained by a news portal. 

In addition, this is also where she met her senior, Yang Dong Geun", she revealed, who is also one of the "Squid Game" season 2 cast and the highly anticipated "Hellbound 2."

Will Kim Tae Hee Continue her Acting Career?

In the same interview, the actress also dishes on her plans, specifically her career. 

Kim Tae Hee expressed her desire to continue acting for the next 20 years, which she sees as a "blessing."

Moreover, she wants to be remembered as an actress "who exudes more humanity both in and outside of acting."

Currently, Kim Tae Hee stars in the mystery thriller K-drama "Lies Hidden in My Garden" with Lim Ji Yeon of "The Glory."

She took on the role of Moon Joo Ran, a housewife with a loving husband and son.

However, amid her almost perfect life lies a mysterious secret, which she discovered in their backyard. 

Joining Kim Tae Hee and Lim Ji Yeon as lead stars in "Lies Hidden in My Garden" are Kim Sung Oh from "Money Heist: Korea" and Choi Jae Rim from "Green Mothers' Club."

Interestingly, the Monday and Tuesday K-drama is Kim Tae Hee's comeback to the small screen after "Hi Bye, Mama!" in 2020.
