Viewers might get to see Shin Min Ah on the small screen once again, as the rom-com queen is set to return with a new K-drama.

Following the success of her 2022 series "Our Blues," the Hallyu queen is in talks to headline a rom-com series.

Shin Min Ah to Possibly Play an Interesting Character in 'Because I Want No Loss'

According to a local outlet, Shin Min Ah has been selected to play the main character in "Because I Want No Loss."

Penned by "Her Private Life" writer Kim Hye Young, the upcoming rom-com K-drama depicts the story of a woman who fakes her marriage. Her reason behind it is that she didn't want to lose her wealth.

On the other hand, the male lead becomes her fake husband, who doesn't want to cause harm to anyone. 

If Shin Min Ah officially accepts the offer, she will take on the role of Son Hae Young.

As for the male lead, officials have yet to announce who will possibly play Kim Ji Wook. 

Besides the cast lineup, the upcoming K-drama "Because I Want No Loss" plans to have its premiere in 2024, while the choice of broadcast network is still undecided.

Shin Min Ah's Previous and Upcoming Dramas

Regarded as one of the beloved Hallyu queens of K-drama, Shin Min Ah cemented her name in rom-com series after starring in hit K-dramas like "My Girlfriend Is a Gumiho" with Lee Seung Gi and "Oh My Venus" together with So Ji Sub. 

Interestingly, Shin Min Ah also proved that she is not just for romantic comedies but could also deliver an amazing performance in political series like "Chief of Staff" seasons 1 and 2, melodramas like "Beautiful Days," "Love to Kill," and, of course, healing dramas like "Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha" and her recent "Our Blues."

Following her three-year hiatus, Shin Min Ah did not disappoint viewers after showcasing remarkable acting in "Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha" with Kim Seon Ho. 

Viewers fell in love not just with the story but also with the chemistry of the "dimple couple."

From then on, the Hallyu star continued to appear in various series. After the star-studded "Our Blues," she is also in talks to headline a drama series titled Here," penned by Noh Hee Kyung of "That Winter, the Wind Blows," "It's Okay, That's Love," and "Our Blues."

She will be reuniting with "Our Blues" co-stars Lee Byung Hun and Han Ji Min and will work alongside Nam Ji Hyuk. 

Adding to the list of Shin Min Ah's new dramas is the medical series "I am a Nurse, a Human," helmed by "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon" director Lee Hyung Min.
