In 2020, they depicted the story of two people whose lives are affected by death, the past and the present. Missing the cast of "Alice"? Keep on reading. Here's where to see more of them this 2023.

Kim Hee Sun

Kim Hee Sun once again showed off her talents and unstoppable charisma in the past year as a grim reaper in the fantasy series "Tomorrow" and the makjang drama "Remarriage & Desires."

This 2023, she is slated to return to the silver screen with "Sweet Sea," a rom-com drama about the romantic tryst between a single mother and a researcher who has never dated before.

Kim Hee Sun couples up with veteran star Yoo Hae Jin in the upcoming film. Currently, the film is still in its production process. Once it finalizes the work, it will finally hit the big screen.

"Sweet Sea" is scheduled to air in the second half of 2023. Meanwhile, Kim Hee Sun will also headline the new drama "Gaslighting" with Kim Nam Hee.

The work marks the actress' newest psychological thriller drama where she plays the role of a counselor who discovers truths about his husband, changing the trajectory of their marriage.

"Gaslighting" will be helmed by "So I Married The Anti-Fan" and "Bring Me Home" creators Nam Ji Yeon and Kim Seung Woo, and it will be released within the year so stay tuned for more details.

Joo Won

Joo Won returned to the spotlight earlier this year as a spy in the comedy action series "Stealer: The Treasure Keeper" opposite Lee Joo Woo.

The work failed to maintain its momentum and score high ratings throughout the work. It was cut short due to the lack of great reception. However, some viewers still loved the series.

It marked the actor's comeback three years after starring in "Alice." In particular, he also headlined the action thriller film "Carter" on Netflix.

At the moment, Joo Won is gearing up for his new action film "Firefighter," taking on the titular role. The film hasn't announced its release date but it's expected to be released this 2023.

In addition to that, Joo Won was also recently cast to star in the heartwarming comedy series "Naughty Photo Studio."
