As Lee Jung Jae made headlines regarding his involvement with BIGBANG T.O.P's casting in "Squid Game" season 2, another top star is rumored to use his connection to get the K-Pop star on board.

Did Lee Byung Hun Pull Strings to Recruit BIGBANG's T.O.P. in 'Squid Game' Season 2?

In a report cited by a local media outlet, after Lee Jung Jae's agency, clarified the rumors regarding the duo's connection, his season 1 co-star Lee Byung Hun was reportedly behind the singer-actor's casting.

Suspicions rose that the award-winning star, who influenced BIGBANG's T.O.P. casting was not Lee Jung Jae but the "Our Blues" star.

It turned out that the person in charge of the K-Pop star's activities is the former head of Lee Byung Hun's agency, BH Entertainment, Kang Jung Woo, and the current head of White Entertainment.

Various industry insiders said that Lee Byung Hun still has a strong connection with BIGBANG's T.O.P.

On the other hand, BH Entertainment has responded to claims regarding the casting.

"We have no official comment" on Lee Byung Hun's alleged involvement in Top's 'Squid Game 2' casting," a representative told Newsen.

To recall, Lee Jung Jae's agency, Artist Company, denied that the actor was heavily involved with the K-Pop star's casting in "Squid Game" season 2.

The label also clarified that there's no truth behind it and that the "casting of a project is the authority of the director and the production company," not Lee Jung Jae, who is a lead star.

In addition, Artist Company also revealed that Lee Jung Jae and BIGBANG's T.O.P. have not seen each other for years, except during the script reading for the upcoming sequel.
